NAE is offering three series of classes to HR professionals, who can earn a Certificate, along with learning or reviewing some of the basics of the human resource department.
For all of us who have to deal with Human Resources issues, we know that the number of federal and state employment related laws seems to be growing and changing every day. We are required to keep the organization in compliance, but sometimes it seems impossible to stay on top of all these changes, particularly for those of us wearing several hats within the organization.
Nevada Association of Employers has put together a series of classes designed for different levels of experience and responsibility. HR GENERALIST is a ten-part series of 2 hour sessions taking a "101" approach to learning the basics of HR duties. HR MANAGEMENT is also a ten-part series of 5 required sessions and 5 electives to be chosen from topics in the HR Generalist group or in the Employment Law group. EMPLOYMENT LAW series includes basic information along with changes and updates to existing legislation.
All classes in the HR GENERALIST, HR MANAGEMENT, and EMPLOYMENT LAW series earn HRCI credits.
Whether you are a seasoned HR practitioner, who would like a "refresher" in some or all of the areas, or someone just starting out in Human Resources, these new programs have value for you.
These courses may be attended individually; however, registering for all required classes will result in a Certificate in the area of study. For more information, please view the Training Calendar.
