NAE News Highlights

DOL announces new overtime regs

The U.S. Dept. of Labor has released the final regulations regarding overtime pay.  The salary threshold for exempt employees is now at least $913/week up from $455/week or $47,476/year.  Highly compensated employee threshold is now $134,004 up from $100,000.  The duties tests have not been changed.  The effective date of these changes is December 1, 2016.
