NAE News Highlights

2015 Nevada Legislature

Of all the bills we have been following, it has come down to 2 that remain: SB 193 and SB 224.   SB 193 would repeal Nevada's daily overtime law and also raise the minimum wage to $9/hour. (The $9/hr minimum wage increase is questionable under the NV Constitution)  SB 224 would add clarification in the NRS as to what an independent contractor is.  As we move toward the final days of this session, NAE will keep you updated.
