EMPLOYEE RELATIONS


NAE assists member companies in establishing and maintaining positive employer-employee relationships. To meet this objective, NAE helps members create sound personnel policies, procedures, job descriptions and other related forms. NAE's representatives are available to address day-to-day employee relations matters in a competent and timely manner. NAE will work closely with members in the preparation and periodic review of employee handbooks, job evaluation systems, employee opinion surveys, and discipline procedures.


Employee Relations services include:


  • Compliance reviews of and/or assistance with handbooks and supervisory manuals.
  • Sample polices, procedures, forms and job descriptions. (No need to reinvent.)
  • NAE Model Employer Drug and Alcohol Policy.
  • Unlimited access (phone, fax, e-mail) for immediate assistance with day-to-day human resource issues.
  • Conduct spot surveys for particular job positions.
  • Performance appraisal guidance and instruction.
  • Effective, progressive discipline procedures to minimize exposure.
  • Minimizing "wrongful termination" liability.
  • Assistance in establishing grievance procedures.
